Fashion As a Medium

A year ago I did entrance exams to AAAD (VŠUP for Czechs), Faculty of Fine Arts, Supermedia studio. It's new studio and everyone is asking what is it about. I won't be explaining since I'm confused as well, but point of this post is, I'm doing those exams again. Next week!!! It's very hard to get there, because they take only 2-5 students into one studio. Anyway I see some things differently this year. We applied there with my friend/classmate doing graphic design and decided to make some project together. To be honest I had some ideas but I was kind of lost. My friend, Denisa, she likes to work with bubble wrap so our project was with this "medium" and she made this fabulous transparent coat from it and I took pictures...

...If I remember right point of this project was that person is not created by clothes, but personality, that's why it was transparent. Fashion piece what shows everything under.I didn't get there neither she, but year passed and I have to think about it again. I've learned how to sew, I found some inspiration and I got this perfect idea that the thought from last year is not true, fashion can be perfect medium to express whatever you want to express; T-shirt could be used as a clean canvas, and not only T-shirt! So I'm re-thinking everything I did last year and maybe that's the way...  We all grew up, right?
